Mapping out homeland security with location intelligence

Governments need to be able to share and disseminate information, particularly spatial information, across agencies, jurisdictions and rescue and recovery units ? as well as citizens ? rapidly, efficiently and economically.

All aspects of government relate to space, place or location. This is why spatial, or location-based information, is being supported as increasingly fundamental to homeland security efforts.
